ZKTeco EC16 Elevator Control Panel

The EC16 is ZKTeco’s second-generation elevator control panel, designed to enhance security and efficiency in access management. It supports fingerprint and RFID card verification via RS485 direct connection while also integrating dynamic QR code access and facial recognition through the ZKBio CVSecurity platform. Each EC16 unit can control up to 16 floors, with the ability to connect up to seven DEX16 expansion boards. Since each DEX16 manages an additional 16 floors, a fully integrated EC16 system can oversee up to 128 floors, effectively meeting diverse market demands.

Beyond floor control, the EC16 integrates seamlessly with ZKBio CVSecurity, taking elevator security to new standards. Multi-time scheduling ensures that specific users can access designated floors only at permitted times, offering precise access control. Meanwhile, the lift direct access function guarantees that only authorized individuals can reach assigned floors at predefined times. Once identity authentication is verified, the system automatically dispatches passengers to their destination, making elevator access both secure and efficient.
